Luke Allen

Luke is a family doctor and global health advisor working at the interface of research, policy and practice. He has worked with the WHO, World Bank, UNICEF, G7, NHS England, and UK Health Security Agency and studied at Bristol, Oxford, Harvard, MIT, and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. With 130+ publications, he has led numerous international mixed-methods projects to study and reform health systems around the world. His work has shaped international health policy, influenced laws, and been cited in UN and WHO resolutions. He has lobbied elected representatives locally, at the Houses of Parliament, the European Parliament, and at the US Senate and Congress.

Marius Ungureanu

Marius is a medical doctor trained in healthcare management and health policy, with a background in health systems and public health research. In Romania, his work is focusing on training the next generation of leaders in healthcare management and public health policies and services, and conducting applied research on human resources for health. At a European level, Marius serves as a board member of the European Health Management Association (EHMA), and the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) – where he also leads the work on the health and care workforce.
